People love to say Windows RDP is insecure, but I think that statement usually misses the context. RDP traffic is encrypted, supports Network Level Authentication, and can be used safely when it's operating inside a private network that isn't exposed directly to the internet. Security is about layers, not blindly disabling useful tools because somebody on social media told you they were dangerous.
